I love these cookies and since they are raw they are full or digestive enzymes and best of all no junk and trans fat.
- 2 cups macadamia nuts - Soaked for 6 hours.
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup raisins
- ½ cup shedded coconut flakes
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Place 1 rounded tablespoon of dough onto a dehydrator sheet, and form the dough into a flat, round cookie. Dehydrate for 8-10 hours. Delicious!
I took this picture of my son helping out in the kitchen. He loves cookies!!
I love men in kilts. I love to look at their big muscles. I was at the Scottish Festival and saw two gorgeous men in kilts on stage talking to the large crowd. I got down on my stomach and did the G.I. crawl across the stage. I got out my Nikon D70 and took the shot. Now looking back I think I must have been nuts. The entire audience saw me, probably a few hundred people. And here I am looking up guys kilts. If it had been a man doing that to women you bet there would have been an arrest and a 5 p.m. news flash about me. But the good new is that the shot has sold nicely on iStock.

After changing the background theme of this page a zillion times I have decided to stick with the food one as it's a major thing in my life. I try to eat as good as possible...but you know we all have our weaknesses and mine is chocolate. So....lucky me, I just read that dark chocolate is actually good for you. Yummy!
A recipe I love is for Raw Chocolate Moose and it's main ingredient is avocado. It also has carob powder and bananas and alcohol-free vanilla. Put a couple of ripe bananas(not too ripe) into a blender, add a few tablepoons of carob powder to taste, a few drips of vanilla, and a few avocados. Blend them till you have a creamy-smooth moose.
I am one of those "throw in a dash of this and chunk of that" kind of cook so if you want more specific instructions just Google it.
(You notice I am using iStockphoto's on my blog. I am an exclusive photographer for them. You can check out my portfolio by following this link.)
This is the closest thing on iStock I could find for chocolate "Moose." I'm sure they have actual chocolate moose but I like this big guy better.
This is Lady Kiyah. She has just picked a bunch of fresh, organic tomatoes. She is quite the experienced model as she held up her tomato per my request and looked into the camera. She had already taken a few bites out of some of them by the time I ran into the house and got my camera.
